Herbert Michael "Mike" Ciechoski, 88, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2025.   Born in Lee Park, Hanover Twp., on August 6, 1937, he was the son of the late Adam and Elsie (Kissner) Ciechoski.   Following his graduation from Hanover Area High School in 1956, Mike gave up several chances to play college football, choosing instead to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps.
