John J ‘Jack’ Ryan, 100, formerly of Pittston, passed away peacefully Saturday November 15th, 2025 in Wesley Village, Jenkins Township, surrounded by his loving family.   Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late William and Pauline (Langan) Ryan.  He was a graduate of Pittston High School and earned a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Scranton.   He went to work with the government with the Federal Railroad Administration as a US Rail Inspector, travellin
