Anthony Provenzano

Anthony Provenzano, 62, of Nanticoke, passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, March 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, Anthony moved to Nanticoke in 2005, where he spent the remainder of his life surrounded by loved ones. He was truly the life of the party, always encouraging those around him to laugh, have fun, and enjoy life. Known for his one of a kind personality and unforgettable sense of humor, Anthony was always ready to brighten someone's day with a good time.

Above all, he was a deeply caring man, devoted to his family, and especially loved being a grandfather to his beloved grandson, Jonah.

Anthony was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years and love of his life, Patty; his mother, Eleanor; and his sister, Joanne.

He is survived by his daughters, Shannon and Erin; his son-in-law, Steven; his grandson, Jonah; his sister, Dineen; and his brother, Bobby.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 15 2025 at 5:00PM from the Daniel J. Hughes Funeral & Cremation Service, 617 Carey Ave., Wilkes-Barre.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 5:00 PM at the funeral home.

Anthony will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love, laughter, and joy he brought into the lives of everyone who knew him.
