Frank D. Bannon, Jr., 83, of Kingston and a longtime resident of South Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully Thursday May 7 2026, surrounded by his loving family at the VA Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Frank and Kathryn (Titus) Bannon, Sr., and was a graduate of Elmer L Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre.
He served his country proudly in the US Air Force, at Wurtsmith AFB, Michigan, where he also met his wife, Isabel, of more than 62 years. He came home to work as a machinist with R & H Manufacturing, Edwardsville, for 38 years until his retirement in 2002.

Most of all he was a loving husband, devoted father, and friend to all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Henry.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years, Isabel, his children, Frank D Bannon III and wife Amy, Lynn Bachstein and husband, Edward, and Michelle Miduri, grandchildren, Madison Miduri, Cory Miduri, Sean Bannon, Emily Bannon, Edward Bachstein and fiancé, Yvonne Galella, Robin Johnstone and husband Christopher, and great grandchildren, Brooke and Georgia.
