It is with much sadness we announce Ann Morgan, of Hanover Green, my faithful wife and loving mother, peacefully passed into glory to be with her Lord on Monday April 27, 2026, surrounded by her family at home.
Ann was born, July 18, 1944, in the Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Bogacki. She was a graduate of James M Coughlin High School in June 1962. On August 24, 1968, Ann was married to her love Jack in Blessed Sacrament Church, Wilkes-Barre.
She was a nurse’s aide and retired from John Heinz Pediatric Department after 32 years of service. She received numerous awards throughout her career. She was twice named Employee of the month, received certificates of appreciation from the Pennsylvania Senate and personally from Senator John Yudichak.
She enjoyed camping at World End State Park, Niagara Falls, Canada, Myrtle Beach, SC and visiting Gettysburg. She loved the water, sitting outside enjoying the sunshine, shopping and going out to eat at the former Hart Lunch, Wilkes-Barre, for supper on payday.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jack, children, Rebecca Heddings, and husband Jim, Turbotville, Jack Morgan and companion Sue, Wilkes-Barre, Brian Morgan Hanover Green, grandchildren, Luke Heddings Liza Heddings and Chloe Morgan, sisters, Mary Jo Sowul, Colts Neck, NJ, Alice Gilmore West Pittston, sister-in-law, Debby Morgan, Berwick.

Funeral services will be held Friday May 1, 2026, at 6:00PM from the Daniel J. Hughes Funeral & Cremation Service, 617 Carey Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, with Pastor Michael Benner and Pastor Don Hartshorne officiating.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday from 4:00PM until the service at the funeral home.
A special thanks to Allied Hospice Home Care, especially Sarah, Carla, Dawn, and Rosa, for their care and compassion to Ann for several months.
