Dennis H Kelly, 79, of Luzerne, passed away peacefully Wednesday March 25 2026 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Green) Kelly and was a graduate of GAR Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre.
He worked as a quilter with Active Quilting, Plans Twp., for more than 31years until the factory unfortunately closed. He had also worked with Union Petroleum, Luzerne for 20 plus years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Emma L Kelly and a brother, Joseph Kelly.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Katherine Dyanick, son, Dennis H Kelly, Jr. grandson Joseph F Sweeney granddaughter, Morgan Kelly, siblings, Patricia Hetzel, Michael Kelly, Hugh Kelly Ruch, sister in law, Helen Gorton, numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff for the care and compassion shown to our father.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family from the Daniel J Hughes Funeral & Cremation Service, Wilkes-Barre.
