Ronnie was a proud American and United States Navy veteran. He served during the Vietnam War (1967-1971), assigned to the USS Saratoga CVA-60. He worked many years at Muskin Pools, Glen Summit Water, and The Pool Factory before retiring.

He was a lifetime member of the Franklin Twp Vol Fire Co., holding multiple offices over the years, proudly serving his community. Fundraising for the bazaars was something he truly loved. Ronnie loved animals, listening to country music and spending countless hours outdoors. Ronnie was all about family. The center of his world was his wife Thelma. His daughters and grandchildren were blessed with the best Dad and Pop.

Ronnie welcomed everyone he met with a big smile and open arms. He was always there to lend a helping hand, no matter what was needed. He enjoyed gathering with friends and family, campfires, and hosting numerous annual Labor Day parties at their home in the country that was always full of fun and laughter. Christmas and opening presents was his most favorite time of year..

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents,  Anthony and Theresa Witkowski, and a sister,  Geri.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Thelma Witkowski, their daughters Raeann Napersky, husband Joseph; Reneé Stadulis, husband Michael; his loving grandchildren Michael Stadulis Jr., Hope Stadulis, and Alicia Napersky,  a niece, Josie Brown and great-nephew Jacob.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Barney and Division Streets, Wilkes-Barre.
